Original printed wrappers, housed in a cardstock box and a card slipcase. The book and the box are in very good condition; the slipcase is lightly rubbed. "A 1200 exemplaires nu…merotes ou nominatifs". A monumental production, issued for the Fifth International Congress on Blood Transfusion, held in Paris between 13 and 19 September, 1954. This appears to be one of the "nominatif" copies, as the page following the title page has the following printed comment: "Exemplaire imprime en l'honneur de Mary Watson, M. B. Cu. B., F. F. A. R. C. S.
