Killed during the 1944 Invasion of Normandy, many consider Douglas to have been a great loss to literature. In the publisher's original navy blue cloth, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with a couple of small faint marks to spine. Minor knocks to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities. Dust wrapper is bright and clean with minimal edgewear.
