Maroon cloth with spine & cover titles in gilt; 12mo; 111pp; floral end papers; illustrated with b/w photo frontispiece, 14 other photo plates plus drawings in text. Contributors include Arthur Potter, U.J. Smith, F.A. Pierce, S.A. Hand and H.E. Doty. "Articles by members of the hunting party. Mostly on deer hunting and one chapter on moose. A rare work." Accounts of deer and moose hunting in northern Maine, by members of a private club formed in 1901 in Cleveland, with a membership limited to ten persons, later raised to 15 members. Each fall they took a three week hunting trip to Maine Rare. Original burgundy cloth gilt. About fine Frontispiece and plates after photographs. 111pp. 8vo.
