Add to basketNo Binding. Condition: Very Good. American chemist and physician Robert Ogden Doremus (1824-1906) signed this part-printed Bellevue Hospital Medical College card: "Yours cordially R. Ogden Doremus". The card is dated June 1st, 1874. Doremus' work in the medical field led to radical changes in the system of medical jurisprudence.… He was called on by coroners and attorneys to help with poison cases and was consulted on how to disinfect a ship that was quarantined due to an outbreak of cholera. He was appointed professor of chemistry and toxicology at Bellevue Hospital Medical College, New York in 1861. 3 ¼" x 4 ¾". Condition: Mounting remnants along left margin, otherwise very good condition with a large, bold signature.
