Condition: Good. 1943. First Edition. 136 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are lightly tanned at the edges, with light foxing. Occasional thumb marks to pages edges. Binding has remained firm. Boards have slight shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are slightly bowed. Slight forward lean to text block.

First edition hardback. VG+, very clean and bright with illustrated endpapers, slight foxing to outer pages and page edges. In G+ dustwrapper (some overall wear, rubbing, small chips and tears) which is housed in protective removable sleeve. A very pleasing example. 6999.
