Expressing in this manner transformed my grave sadness into a resolved calm, and finally into peaceable joy, as though the writing itself became the crystal clear image of the soul partner for whom I was longing, while telling of a second self that would be revealed in her flesh. The poetry in this small volume represents my search for her, my battle for her, and finally my repose in her - that beloved unknown, my second self which the Gift helped me to envision, assuring me of her arrival. Thus to you, my soul mate, my second self, I now pass the knowledge-Gift to you as a Gift of my poetic expression.
