Folio, white cloth with multi-colored pictorial covers (spine sun-darkened, as usual); pictorial cloth slipcase (well-rubbed and repaired; now sound). New York: Abrams, (1961). First American edition. Scarce. Internally fine, a very good(+) copy of this handsomely printed book. The plates (black & white, sepia and color), many of which are single-sided, were handsomely printed in France using offset lithography and other techniques.
