The autobiography of Tom Dollery (1914-87) who played as a top order batsman for Warwickshire for some 20 years. He played four Test matches for England. SIGNED by him on the front free end paper, with a pencilled note from a previous owner that he signed the book in 1984 on his retirement as Steward of Edgbaston Golf Club. Two ex libris stickers on front pastedown, one of which is that of J M Fleming of Edinburgh, known in Scottish cricket circles. Book in overall good condition - slight discolouration at edges of covers; gilt writing on spine a tad faded; a few odd foxing or other marks internally; a little spotting on outside edges of text block. Jacket poor, though presents well - chipped and worn around edges, including at top of front cover; foxed or marked internally; poly-protected. Signed by Author(s).
