Condition: Very Good. Single page. Dated June 8, 1993. Letterhead of Office of the Commissioner Major League Baseball. Two horizontal folds (for mailing). A few minor brown spots. Three holes punched along left side (probably for a three-ring notebook. Apparently unrelated pencil notes and numbers on back in what appears to be an unknown hand (it doesn't look to us like Flood's handwriting). The consent form referred to in the letter is not present. We know nothing about this proposed promotion or whether Flood signed the consent form. Flood died of throat cancer just short of his 59th birthday. The Player's Association paid his medical bills. A Hunt Auctions Letter of Provenance for this (and several other Flood-related items which we never had) signed by Judy Pace Flood is included with this letter.
