Condition: Near Fine. A small mark on the front cover otherwise an extremely tight and unmarked copy-" One night in the Bronx a millionaire, Sherman McCoy, and his mistress have an accident. The next day a young Black is in hospital in a coma as McCoy heads for disaster. His humiliation is at the center of a satire on the decayi…ng class, racial and political structure of New York in the 1980s. It's Tom Wolff, this book is EXACTLY applicable to today's environment in the most vivid detail. George Floyd, the wealthy versus the poor, Rodney King, and Breanna Taylor, this really just puts the divide into perspective and lets the reader really see these incidents from multiple perspectives. Compassion can be garnered for its many participants and scorn for those whose existence is predicated on stirring up lies and deception."-Alistair-.
