Dills Published by Bison Books, USA., 1983. Hard covers with illustrated dust jacket, size 28.5 x 22.5 cms., 160 pages, numerous colour and some mono reproductions of selected German war art of the period. Hitler ordered that a group of specially selected artists be established to develop a pictorial record of the war in paintings and drawings. While some of these works found their way into public view over the years, the great majority remained in storage, most of them remaining classified until 1978. This book exhibits many of the items in this vast art collection together with a commentary from some of the actual artists. The book is in very good condition throughout. A01.1178.…
