Connie Dillman, also a painter, has spent most of her life in the Southwest and her art connects with animals, people forests, deserts, mountains and more. Jacquelyn Speir was born in El Paso to a Mexican mother and and a Southern father and her poetry encompasses the duality of the cultures of her birth.
