The wraps are a little shelf rubbed, a long very light crease on the front cover and slightly scuffed on the spine. Internally the pages are clean and complete. Staple bound. the booklet is not signed, however, included with the book is a letter to Mr. J.S. Hutton from the author. the letter thanks Mr. Hutton for his donation to the Transvaal Scottish Regimental Museum of a slouch hat badge. Peter Digby signed the letter which is dated 1970 and is on a King Edward School letterhead. the school housed the museum at the time GK.
