Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 3rd edition. 129 pages + 19 plates/diagram pages and a 2nd section of Thirteen Movements for Infantry as Ordered by His Majesty, with a separate title page of 14 pages + 2 page index leaf at rear. In the original sugar paper boards, paper label, a few small marks on the covers, some loss to spine, but minor for age. Some light age spotting internally, but quality rag paper used and so still near fine, all edges uncut. Small oblong quarto. 1803. Rare. *Three copies show up on Copac, none in the USA and only 1 copy of this 3rd edition, the catalogue description has only 145 pages in their copy in the BL and the earlier editions of 1798 and 1799 are both 12 mo size (I should imagine they don't have the diagrams of troop movements as none are mentioned?) NO other copies listed for sale at time of listing (Worldwide).
