Gift note from an Aunt and Uncle dated Christmas 1945 on fep. A few smudges and a couple closed tears, but overall a nice copy of this story about a boy named Bill who has a dog named Judge who everyone says is crazy or nuts because he runs into things and seems to have no sense of balance. Defending his dog to his friends, Bill boasts that Judge has been chosen by the Army as a War Dog, then immediately regrets his fib but feels he now has to make good on it and offer his pal up to the military for the war effort. 67 pages. Size: Small 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Tall.
