Paperback small quarto, thick card covers, good condition, full-page colour & black & white posters, faint tidemarks bottom edge (former water contact now dry), bottom corner tip front cover creased, laminate coating little worn spine, spine & rear cover little faded, minor edgewear corners. 70 pp. This book contains the famous 'Bubbles' advert, which became a classic advert for this British soapmaker, plus other Pears adverts that have been long forgotten but are here collected in this fascinating book. The advertising material reflects the changing fashions and tastes of the period, and it is a nostalgic look at the advertising art of a bygone era.
