Book Condition: Good +; paper covering on the spine has been re-glued to the spine; 1/3 of the spine covering is missing; glue browning to endpapers; shelfwear to head, tail, and tips. No DJ. Printed paper on boards and spine with bright black lettering on the front board. Clean internals. Inner hinges are sound and not split. 64 pp 8vo. Harvard University was were this book originated and where the US Army Chaplain School was located in WWII. The book is designed for use in military and civilian services and for private devotions by civilians and military to help ease the pain of war. There are 27 sections to this book which separate the prayers into subjects to help in location of the prayer required for the occasion. A clean very presentable copy.
