Blinkhorn & Co. From Introduction: "This booklet was originally published in 1894 with the aim of providing 'a handbook to the objects of interest in and about the City'. In that year Cape Town had about 52 000 inhabitants. A short description is given of the city's history, main streets, commercial firms, public institutions and tourist attractions, while advertisements of various local shops and other businesses enhance the interest of the publication. The copy from which this facsimile reprint was produced is housed in the SA Library and the only one listed in the S.A. Bibliography to 1925.".
