The covers have some chipping and creasing along the edges with a one inch tear to the bottom edge of the back cover which has some staining around the bottom corner. The spine has some rubbing to the edges and tears at the top and bottom. Pink staining at the bottom of the inside of the front cover, the first page and also to the contents page. There is browning to the edges of the pages. The pages are browned with some spotting and marking in places, some chipping to the edges and a little creasing to the corners but are generally otherwise unmarked. The stories are illustrated but no artists are credited and I have not been able to find any identifiable signatures.
