America's first series of collector's medals, they were commissioned by the Circle of Friends of the medallion from leading medalists of the time, with the…mes commemmorating significant events, places, or people, and struck by the Medallic Art Company of New York. All 12 medals are as issued in the holders in the booklets, with some occasional age-toning as expected, see photos for representative examples, and contact us for further details. The numbered booklets are VG or better, occasional bumping to spines and/or corners, the cover gilt medallions are bright, and the pages browned.
