Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Fair condition hardback brown boards showing title of book etc clearly on spine in gilt lettering with a gilt decoration. Top outer edge of spine approx 1" and a 1/4" is missing. Board front and back are held on to the book by the ties. Edge of boards are gilded and a gilt decoration is shown on the front and back boards. 192 tightly bound mottled edged pages good and clean with clear print with a few pages at the back of the book showing chronological tables. End papers also are mottled. Presentation sticker pasted inside front board: Preparatory School 1897. No foxing, no previous names. A few black and white illustrations.
