Faint foxing to top and bottom edges of front boards, and heavily foxed to rear board,…with small (1in) red scratch at fore-edge of rear board, extended into inside front cover. Cloth title window at front board, connected to board only at one corner. Lightly foxed along edges of inside covers. Extensive lightly penciled notes from previous bookseller at inside front cover; one of these notes claims this copy was 'Part of Tate (James) collection.' Cloth limitation plate at inside back cover, with written: #23 of 30 sets of ten broadsides, each SIGNED by the poets. Please note that broadsheet seven went unsigned, as Merton passed away in 1968. Additionally, this copy of the Unicorn Broadsheets Series One is missing the fourth broadsheet, Kenneth Rexroth's 'All Year Long.' Individual broadsheets with condition notes as follows: 1) 'A Curse on the Men in Washington, Pentagon' by Gary Snyder, copyright 1968.
