First Edition. Octavo. 24cm. Publisher's bright yellow card wraps titled and decorated in black to spine and front cover. Glassine. 455pp.; [3]. Bright and striking, a little light creasing to the spine ends and some mild discoloration of the bright yellow covers; internally clean and fresh, illustrated throughout, unopened. A very good clean copy indeed. Printed in Spanish, English, and German in parts, with contributions from a number of academic colleagues and admirers of Dr. Caso' s work. Alfonso Caso was a groundbreaking archeologist and interdisciplinary researcher into the ancient history of Mexico, and a lifelong celebrator of the art, culture, folklore and rich history of the pre-conquest cultures of the Americas.
