    pp. 291-350. 2 lithographed plates, 7 text figures. Wraps lacking with exposed pages dusty and nicked at the edges and corners. *LEONARD DARWIN [1850-1943], eighth child of Charles and Emma Darwin, commissioned in the Royal Engineers, 1870. In the above paper, he contributed sections on the Coronograph and the Prismatic Camera, having had a longstanding interest in photography. He had photographed his father at Down House, in a basket chair, a much reproduced image.
