Hardcover. Condition: Good. Octavo, 612pp. A good copy in the publisher's brown cloth, with browm calf spine. Spine dry, with notable wear to the crown, the last fifty or so pages dog-eared, and some general age-toning. Pencil scribbles to endpapers, else unmarked. Still a crisp, firmly bound copy of this uncommon taxonomy of southern vegetation, published on the eve of the American Civil War.
