134 pages. Hardcover: H 21.5cm x L 21.25cm. White dust jacket lightly soiled, some nicks and a few short closed tears at edges, 2cm deep chip at spine head shallowly extending into adjacent panel corners, slight residue from removed price sticker at front flap's top right corner; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Black cloth with dark orange stamped lettering, tearing and slight curling at spine head. Interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. Else a very good- copy in a good+ dust jacket. With b/w illustrations and color plates, essay "Calder" by James Johnson Sweeney (pages 5-10), biographical chronology titled "The Artist, The Work" by Daniel Lelong (pages 11-28), "Sculptures, Mobiles, Stabiles, Gouaches" (pages 29-131). Sweeney was curator of the Museum of Modern Art from 1935 to 1946 and director of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum from 1952 to 1960. ISBN 084352023X.
