Tan & red quarter bound hardcover with gold gilt on morocco leather title box on frt panel and backstrip, spine title has a shallow chip but all wording legible. Spine ends bumped, tips still sharp with light color loss. Previous owner name is on fep, otherwise the 250pp are tight & bright with crisp text and no tears but a touch of very light foxing in some margins. This volume is intended partly as a sort of beginner's handbook in the care of the horse in training, and partly to answer some of the questions most frequently asked by interested persons whose experience has been confined to casual race-going.
