Flat signed by the author to title page (striking through his own name), and again to half title 'To Rowan Rhys, in apprecation of great good neighbourliness'. Includes B&W photographic plates, all present. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Gutters somewhat cracked with some exposed netting; binding somewhat shaky. Small pencil inscription to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Text block edges highly foxed and tanned. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. A few liquid droplet marks; small water stain to spine and rear board. Boards are slightly bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Spine is a little sunned. Gilt is dulled and worn.…
