For voice and piano. Plate imprint, "B.M.Co. 7179." There are pencil notation throughout altering the lyrics to the song. Some changes appear pure…ly aesthetic, seemingly focused solely on the timbre of the words, such as changing "soul" to "heart," other changes are more invasive and appear to be a response to the original becoming a bit too secular; for instance, changing "Give thanks and sing noontide's golden hour/See how the sunshine kisses leaf and flow'r" to "Give thanks and sing God is always nigh/He'll hear our prayers and every need supply." Laid in are two sheets, hand written (on one side only), of the vocal melody and lyrics, incorporating all of the changes made to the original. A unique copy of this sacred song.
