First Edition. Portrait frontispiece One of 450 numbered copies Corners a little rubbed, minor damage to upper blank margin of last six leaves, otherwise a very nice copy The author's only book. He was primarily a politician and journalist. On the recto of the limitation leaf is the following: "These Poems were printed in Jerusalem in time of War, and it was not possible to correct the proofs fully." A few errors have in this copy been corrected in manuscript. Original parchment-backed grey boards, spine lettered in black, uncut.
