He was the first anthropologist to record and publish an account of these people. Signed by editor.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. The Narrative Of Frank H. Cushing's journey to the Havasupai indians in 1882. Reprinted from two 1882 issues of the Atlantic Monthly magazine. First edition, #92 of a limited edition of 200, signed by the author of the Foreword, hardcover, has a tiny indention to the middle of the top cover's fore-edge, otherwise square and clean, a NEAR FINE copy housed in a NEAR FINE slipcase which has a tiny pen mark to the bottom edge.
