Condition: Fair. 1898. Fifth Edition. 304 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Prize plate stuck to front pastedown. Pages are lightly tanned. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Mild thumb-marking present. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Heavy tanning to spine, which has notable crushing and tearing to ends. Book has forward lean. Boards are notably warped.

Dark green cloth covered boards in excellent condition with gilding on front cover and spine. Small pock mark indent to front board, which is lightly apparent on DJ as well. Dust jacket in very good condition with some minor scuffing and light shelf wear, particularly to the edges and corners, now in brodart. Overall an excellent, crisp copy of this extensive resource.
