Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Hardcover with gilt lettered front board, no dust jacket, in very good condition. Undated, but probably between 1885-1899, (date of penned ownership to FEP). From the collection of Ian Angus (British Librarian and a scholar on George Orwell), whose name and date are pencilled to FEP. Also penned to the FEP is the name 'Howard Carter', however not the Egyptologist. Boards are a little scored. Edges, corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Page block is tanned and blemished. Foxing noted on the pastedowns and endpapers. Spots of foxing also noted on a few of the pages, which are otherwise clear. Spine stitching visible in places, however binding remains sound. LW. Used.
