Volumes two and three are articles taken from John Ashhurst's 1882 International Encyclopaedia of Surgery, with the final one being authored by W. Watson Cheyne (1852-1932), a former chief assistant to Joseph Lister and pioneering antiseptic surgeon in his own right. 1415695. Special Collections - Upstairs.
