Pictorial (kilted boy in spiked helmet blowing bugle and holding flag, girl with sabre to fnt; plain back) paper-covered boards with dark blue cloth backstripe. Book has rubbing to edges and corners. 80 pages. 12 stories with b&w illus. and each generally with a moral. Seems very much of the Tom Brown's Schooldays era.
