The title refers to Joseph Mainzer's (1801-1851) famous singing manual of 1841; in the present lithograph Mainzer attempts to get the members of Assembly to sing in…harmony. Uncoloured lithograph cartoon (58 x 41 cm). In very good condition, with a number of marginal comments written in pencil in a contemporary hand along the lower margin, beneath the caption text.
