Originally published in 1929 by Harper and Brothers. Listed on the rear panel of the dust jacket are "New" titles from Grosset and Dunlap the first title is the Maltese Falcon which wasn't published until 1930. Earlier owners gift inscription on the first free end page. Dust jacket is 75% complete yet suffers from heavy tape repairs to just about everything. Front dust jacket panel is missing a 7 inch deep by 4 inch wide V chunk. Almost the complete title on the front panel. The rear inside panel is separated completely from the rear panel. In very good / poor condition. Language: eng 0.0.
