Retirage datant de 1982, de cette superbe composition de Cassandre pour le Challenge Round de la coupe Davis, datant de 1932. La petite balle jaune, devient pour l'occasion blanche, est l'élément principal de la composition. Bords très légèrement effrangés et infimes plis. Cassandre (Karkow-Russie 1901-Paris 1968), élève de l'Académie Julian, "se consacre à l'art publicitaire à partir de 1922. Il a donné à l'affiche un style nouveau, empruntant certains éléments graphiques à l'art majeur, réduisant le cubisme au décoratif. Il poursuivit d'intéressantes recherches typographiques".
