The magnificent-voiced football player turned actor starred in numerous films over several decades ("Gaslight," "Duel in the Sun," "Portrait of Jennie" and "September Affair" among them), but never eclipsed his roles as Holly Martins in "The Third Man" (1949) and as Jedediah Leland in Orson Welles' 1941 classic "Citizen Kane." Signed Film Program, 6½" X 9", 4pp, printed in Vienna, Austria as a promotional supplement to the November 1952 issue of the "Illustrierte Film-Kurrier," a film monthly.
