Pictorial Hard Cover. Condition: Fair. Corinne Ringel Bailey (illustrator). Unpaginated; 3/8 in. thick. B/W and color illustrations. The spine strip and the boards' corners are frayed. A scrape on the back board makes one letter of the title illegible. The boards have several small spots of color loss, mostly on the background of the illustration. The front endpaper has two areas of scraped paper. About a fourth of the back endpaper has scribbling in light pink. One page margin has two closed tears tipped back together with glue. Scans e-mailed upon request. Standard shipping cost in the U. S. will be reduced.

Written in 1876, this delightful early American tale is a classic to be enjoyed forever. Adults as well as young adults will delight in Twain's humor. Book.

Oversize volume with decorative boards and a cloth spine has wear at head and foot of spine, and at tips of boards--boards exposed at tips. Some soiling and staining on front board, primarily along right edge. Abrasions along board edges, and some rubbing on rear board. Evidence of a removed sticker at bottom right of rear board. Interior pages unmarked save for previous owner's name inked on FFE. Hines slightly weakened, rear a little cracked. Full page color illustrations which some of which have shadowed onto the margins of facing pages. Quite attractive despite flaws. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
