Book condition - Good plus ; contents clean, no foxing or tanning or offsetting, ink inscription on the title page - " To Bertie from his aff'n't brother C. Elvey Cope" - , binding firm, inner hinges intact ; pale brown cloth with title in black on the front board ; corners a bit rubbed but not bent, boards' edges good, back of generally clean appearance with some light marks and one small dark stain, spine complete but ends worn, front and back hinges rubbed and split but secure, spine colour tanned, front board again of generally clean appearance with a few small marks and one obvious stain c. 1 x 4 cm. on the bottom edge.
