This is copy No. 34 of the 244 copies (out of a total of 380 copies) which were printed without tipped-in specimen pages. A catalogue of works by Whittington Press, including titles produced for other publishers, minor publications and ephemera, catalogues and prospectuses, posters and broadsides. An appendix with a checklist of books published from 1972 to 1981 along with indices to tiles, names, and subjects. In a fine slipcase. Weight is 4.5 lbs. Postage may be extra on this item.

Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Quarter creme vellum gilt with marbled paper-covered boards, slipcase, large folio, (vi), 83, (3) pages. Illustrated with six original wood engravings, a perspex engraving, a linocut, five mounted photographs, drawings, and a large folded type-specimen on Amalfi handmade paper. Of a total of 320 numbered copies printed with various colors on Zerkall Halbmatt mould-made paper, this is one of 95 copies bound by Woolnough in quarter natural vellum and marbled paper-covered boards by Colleen Gryspeerdt, with 48 specimen leaves mounted on labelled brown Colorplan paper and an additional leaf listing subscribers. A fine copy in a very slightly rubbed brown cloth and paper-covered board slipcase with a cover engraving.

Of 380 copies printed at Whittington on Zerkall mould-made paper, this being No. 27 of 244 bound thus by the Fine Bindery. A fine copy in archival mylar in the near fine green cloth and paper-covered board slipcase which shows only light extremity wear and one faint strip of fading.
