Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. Copyright is 1962. 120 pages. Signed in name only by Frederic G. Renner on the title page. There is a little very light shelf wear along bottom edges, and end leaves show slight handling creases. Volume is otherwise a tight and very clean copy. Clear mylar dust sleeve shows a light splatters of paint and a couple tears, though remains in place and has protected the book well. Signed by Author(s).

In the publisher's original mylar dust wrapper, with rubbing to the surface. This copy has been signed by Frederic G. Renner (writer of the introduction and commentary).

Besides the letters, there are photographs of Charlie Russell with his friends and several by Dorothea Lange who photographed him as he was engaged in conversation with Maynard Dixon (with her brief reminiscence of the occasion). Bound in pictorial paper covered boards depctig a hand with a lit cigarrette.spine white with black lettering, upper joint lightly rubbed. A very nice copy.
