It contains facsimile reprints of the following pamphlets: Proceedings of… the first general meeting of the British and Foreign Philanthropic Society for the permanent relief of the labouring classes, first published 1822; The religious creed of the new system, by A. Combe, first published 1824; and The sphere for joint-stock companies: or, the way to increase the value of land, capital, and labour, by A. Combe, first published 1825. The book is bound in the original light purplish brown cloth covered boards with a dark brown cloth covered spine and gold titling on the spine. The book is in excellent condition and the contents are tight and clean with no inscription.
