Bound in tan & brown paste-paper covered boards with light brown leather title label on spine, with gilt-stamped title, reading: CAMPAGNE DE 1813 EN ALLEMA, with gilt borders and three gilt lines across spine. The spine shows a 2 inch section of the paste-paper chipped away, wear to spine ends, wear to cover corners, edges; some age-related tan spotting to endpapers, plates, page margins, some ink spots in a few page margins. Name in ink at top of the titlepage: G. Aipely (?). The map shows two brown stains in the bottom edge, a 4 inch horizontal split along the left-hand first horizontal fold, and 1 inch split to one of the lower vertical folds; the first of the four plates shows a 3 inch tear to the central left-hand blank margin; some tanning to the edges of all the plates. Copy in an early binding. The scan shows the spine & front cover. (French text).
