Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Self-Published by the Author, Decatur, IN. 1940 (?), n.d. but he died in 1946 and is still the author of this book- thus this is a 1940s publication. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Very Good +; slight shelfwear to head, tail, and tips; light dust soiling to boards; tarnished gilt lettering on the spine. No DJ. Burgundy cloth boards and spine with gilt lettering on the front board. Clean internals; internal hinges are sound and not split. 102 pp 8vo. In ten lessons, the author takes the interested auctioneer student through his self taught auctioneering methods. Reppert covers personality skills, voice, pronunciation, personal health demands, pedigree study, advertising, livestock judging, real estate, community sales, antique sales, and hog sales. Full of information and personal experience from a professional auctioneer of the old school. Laid in is an article on "Origin of the Public Auction" and a Dave Kessler auction notice from 1965. A clean very presentable copy.
