    Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Brown hardcovers with a very nice gold illustration on the front cover which is bright. Gold lettering and bands on the spine are faded as the spine is sunned. Heavy wear and fraying on spine ends. Moderate bumping and wear on corners. Light wear on edges and hinges. Heavy shelf wear and soiling to covers. Yellowing and light soiling to page ends. Text and the many b&w illustrations and maps are yellowed with age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Frontispiece of Yosemite Falls is in very good condition. Hinges are tight. This volume vividly describes the author's tour around the world starting in New York. Chapters detailing experiences in India, Egypt, Singapore and much more. Tells of the religions, transportation, geography and more. All books are individually examined and described.
