Limited edition of 980 numbered copies and 80 not for sale. 2 vols, facsimile in full red blind-stamped morocco with gilt decoration and the commentary in cloth, housed in the publisher's plexiglass case, gold in the binding workshops Steinbrener a Schärding, 8vo, 29 cm, facsimile 277 pp, commentary 292 pp, 43 ill A superb facsimile of the very famous ' Très belles heures du duc de Berry ', also known as the ' Heures de Bruxelles', (Ms. 11060-61 at the Royal Library Albert I in Brussels). This early 15th century Book of Hours was produced by André Beauneveu and other artists.With the commentary volume (text in German and French) by Bernard Bousmanne, Pierre Cockshaw, Gerhard Schmidt. Copy number 883. With the Prospectus and original purchase receipt for German DM7400 (around GBP 2,300), in November 2000.
