Hardcover. Condition: Good. Original brick red cloth, gilt lettering and edges, 5x7 3/8 inches, iv + 426 pp, well illustrated with black and white drawings. Hardcover, good. Corners bumped with cardboard exposed there, rubbed along edges, tears along joints, ¾ inch chipping off foot of spine, head of spine has a small piece o cloth covering it, pinhead size drop marks on rear board, previous owner's inscriptions, shaken, lightly age yellowed, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp, unmarked. Bible studies; Christian; religion; Victorian.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. Half leather with pebble-grain boards. Raised bands. Gold gilt lettering and design on spine. Marbled end-papers. Bindery ticket inside front cover. Spine and title page indicate "Volume I" but this is a complete volume (Genesis to Revelation - all 66 books commented upon). Many high-quality, full-page engravings by Dore, plus other engravings and drawings by other artists of the day. Spurgeon: "An admirable collection of notes." Full refund if not satisfied.

Pebble black cloth boards. Title page in Red and Black ink. The cloth covering on the back is mottled nad worn. Marginalia in pencil on a few pages. Overall in GOOD condition.
