Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. A really nice copy, with a decent jacket. There is a gift inscription on the first page dated 1932, but the date of 1930 appears on the copyright page. Since there appear to be printings of this title with later copyright dates, this may well be the first edition…, but this is not stated. The binding is sound and the pages are pristine. They are lightly but attractively age-toned to a creamy beige. The jacket, which reprises the art on the pictorial boards, is edgeworn and has several chips, but the colors are bright and the picture is complete, so I would call it quite good for its age, although not without flaws. A mylar Brodart cover now protects it. Scans on request. Illustrated by Bill Bailey (illustrator).
